About
UNIQUE EXPERIENCE, expertise, AND SKILL SET
I am a storyteller and communications strategist focused on impact.
For nearly two decades, I worked as a journalist for top-tier global media outlets, including a decade as a foreign correspondent in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. I’ve travelled more than a mile below the earth’s surface to speak with South Africa’s first women gold miners, crossed the Chalbi desert to interview nomadic communities threatened by drought, and by float plane to the Char of Bangladesh to see, first hand, how a toilet can transform lives.
After leaving journalism, I went on to serve as communications lead for the world’s foremost land rights organization and collaborated with partners to develop powerful messaging to catalyze the global land rights movement.
As a senior thought leadership advisor for the last nine years, I have helped mission-driven leaders craft op-eds, speeches, and blogs to achieve their goals.
